Lead testing experts

Envirotest can set your mind at ease and ensure that your next job conforms to the EPA’s new lead paint laws which took effect April 2010. You must now call in lead testing experts to test for lead in order to clear the job site and qualify for the paperwork that ensures you stay on the right side of the lead paint laws. Make sure you avoid maximum fines up to $32,500.

Envirotest’s lead testing experts are local EPA certified lead paint inspectors and risk assessors.  We can ensure that you stay on the right side of those laws. Here’s what you must do before starting any job:

  • Make sure your firm is EPA certified
  • Make sure workers have EPA approved training
  • Educate owners by handing out the EPA pamphlet Renovate Right (EPA lead paint law guidelines).
  • Get a signed receipt that the lead paint pamphlet was received by the client
  • Assume that lead paint is present in pre-1978 buildings
  • Test for lead paint to see if RRPO rules apply
  • Use an EPA certified lead paint inspector or Risk Assessor like the lead testing experts at Envoritest.
